Railway employees are covered under CCS (TA) Rules, 2002 as amended by 7th CPC. Railway Board adopts these rules with specific RBE orders (No. 90/2017, 31/2025 for DA revision).

⚠️ DA Revision: DA increased from 53% to 55% w.e.f 01.01.2025 (Railway Board RBE No. 31/2025). Transport Allowance is automatically revised with DA. Physically handicapped employees receive double the applicable TPTA.
